Easter Day is always a special day in every church in the world because it celebrates the fact that Jesus rose from the dead. This is celebrated in many different ways. Eggs are often used,, both chocolate and real eggs as an egg is a symbol of new life. Eggs can even be painted in some countries. In St. Hilary's the children always enjoy Easter Day. Find out how the Easter preparations in St. Hilary's went below......................
Eric
notices that Miss Enid must be rather cold this morning because she has
her lovely warm Winter hat on. He thinks that, as it IS Easter, he would
offer to turn it into an Easter bonnet.......with a
Easter lily of course! Next |

Clever Eric.......doesn't the hat look great
with a lily in it!. Tinker loves the lily in the hat too and is trying to reach it. Next |

Who is this new "duck on the block"? It is
Gloria! She flew in this Easter Sunday morning after hearing how sad Eric
has been. Gloria is Esme's auntie and she is now on her own. When Esme told her how lonely Ernest's father was she agreed to "fly in" for a while and join the congregation in St. Hilary's. Gracie just so pleased to see how happy Eric is looking. GP, her pet, is happy for him too! Next |
